Explore the Village

Sainte-Catherine Street East is the Village’s main thoroughfare, with places to eat and spend an evening around Beaudry métro station. For the 2026 season, the stretch between Saint-Hubert Street and Papineau Avenue is designated pedestrian-only through October 12. A quieter stop is Parc de l’Espoir, a memorial to people lost to HIV/AIDS.

Find community beyond a night out

Montréal’s queer scene extends beyond the Village; Tourisme Montréal points visitors toward events and spaces in other neighbourhoods. For a different perspective, the Archives gaies du Québec preserves materials documenting LGBTQ2S+ life in Québec. Fierté Montréal’s 2026 festival, held July 31–August 9, is now a historical event, not an upcoming travel date; its Community Days brought organizations together in the Village.
