Scope and publisher

This policy concerns the index-focused Gaylidays website, not the former WordPress account and comment features.

Browsing and destination searches

The public application does not provide user accounts, comments or uploads. Destination searches filter a public dataset in your browser. The application code does not transmit your search text to Directus or an AI service, and does not set advertising cookies or use browser storage to save your searches.

Requests to load pages and files reach the hosting provider. Hosting logs and any services configured outside this application must be covered by the final privacy information.

Contact form provided by Tally

The contact page embeds a form hosted by Tally and loads its embed script. Your browser connects to Tally when these resources load. Information submitted through the form is processed through Tally.. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

Contact and hosting data

Jeremy MUSELET receives contact messages submitted through Tally and forwarded to the contact mailbox, for handling enquiries and corrections. The retention policy is deletion from Tally and the mailbox 12 months after the last exchange. This retention requires operational deletion by the publisher; the website does not perform it automatically.

Audience measurement and cookie choices

Google Tag Manager (container GTM-P7KWZVXB) loads on public pages to manage measurement tags and consent. Google Analytics (Google, measurement ID G-DFGY588BLV) is disabled by default and measures visits only after you accept analytics cookies. Refusing analytics prevents Google Analytics measurement and cookie storage. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. Analytics is disabled on local and preview domains. Your choice is stored in your browser for 180 days; you can change it using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase previously collected data.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides audience and performance statistics without cookies or local storage for measurement, according to Cloudflare. This service is configured separately in Cloudflare and is not switched by the Google Analytics preference. Hosting and network providers also process requests to deliver and secure the site. External links

Following an external source link opens a service operated by another organisation, with its own privacy practices. The current stylesheet also requests a font from Google Fonts; this external request must be removed or covered by the approved privacy information before launch.
