YOUR DESTINATION, IN CONTEXT
Split has a published GLD City Score of 73/100, in the High range.
Split is both a living city inside Roman walls and a major gateway to the central Dalmatian islands. Its tourism intensity creates international visibility, while the local LGBTQ+ context remains more limited than in some larger European destinations.

Diocletian's Palace is not a closed monument but a network of streets, homes, shops and squares at the core of modern Split. Beaches, Marjan hill and ferry routes make the city a practical base as well as a destination.
