Bogotá’s tourism guides place Chapinero at the heart of the city’s LGBTQ+ scene, with cafés, restaurants and nightlife around Chapinero Central and Chapinero Alto. For a different afternoon, consider Teusaquillo’s Museo LGBTI Stonewall or the galleries and food spots of San Felipe. Check individual places directly before visiting; a listing is not a venue certification.

District reporting places Pride-related activity broadly in June and July, but programmes and routes vary by edition. Consult the organising groups’ announcements for the current programme rather than relying on an earlier itinerary. Beyond celebrations, the district’s Casas LGBTI offer community activities and support services.

A city score builds on its country’s context and adds local signals such as LGBTQ+ visibility, venues, events and tourism. A higher city score does not remove national restrictions.
BEHIND THIS SCORE
The source-based overview above adds local context. These are the recorded score components; the editorial research has not recalculated them.
Local adjustment is a component, not the final city score. The national context remains important.
Bogotá uses Colombia national LGBTQ+ travel context plus local tourism, Pride/event, scene or venue evidence where available. Official LGBTQ+ tourism visibility is conservative where no city-specific official page was found.
