Find your own route through the Gaixample

Some parts of Barcelona deserve a little wandering time. In the Gaixample, LGBTQ+ bars, restaurants and shops sit within the everyday streets of the Eixample. The name brings together the area’s gay identity and its neighbourhood setting, but this is a place to explore at your own pace, with room for a shop window, a meal or a drink along the way.

One address to get you started

If you like having a first stop in mind, begin with Punto BCN on Carrer de Muntaner. This longstanding gay bar gives you a concrete address from which to explore the surrounding streets. We’d leave some space between bookings here: the pleasure of a neighbourhood visit is choosing your next stop as you go, whether you’re browsing by day or making an evening of it.
