Make time for a dance at this historic queer address, where the tradition of the Parisian bal lives on.

Choose a night at the Tango

A dancefloor with a Parisian past

For a night out with a taste of the Parisian bal, put the Tango on your list. Known as La Boîte à Frissons since 1997, this historic LGBTQ+ venue on Rue au Maire makes dancing itself the attraction. Its traditions include partner dances, musette and disco, giving you a different starting point from a night built entirely around electronic music.

Find the evening that suits your steps

The Tango’s story continues under Ivresse, which took over its next chapter in January 2025. Bals and themed evenings are part of the current offer, so choose your visit from the live programme. We’d keep it as a dedicated dancing stop after a drink around Arts-et-Métiers: one neighbourhood, two different ways to spend the evening.
